3D Printed Ruined Tower

Quick post today with a few pics of a ruined tower I printed and painted from The Print Goes Ever On.

As always with terrain, my goal here is to get it done as fast as possible. I love the end result but find little joy in the terrain painting process. So, I look for quick turnarounds!

This model was sprayed Grey Seer, then washed with a 50:50 water/Seraphim Sepia shade mixture. Once that dried, I did a heavy drybrush of Vallejo Light Grey, followed by another drybrush of Vallejo White. Finally, I painted the doors and windows with contrast paints and added a few green and yellow spots from thinned washes just to give some more texture.

Easy! Finally, the piece is in 3 parts, which I drilled out and magnetized so it won't get bumped on the table. Look for this tower featuring in the next battle report!

Edit- for those of you still using this page, the new edition URL is as follows :  https://modular.tabletopadmiral.com/?gameUrl=https://nowforwrath.github.io/data2024.json And just the data file is at  https://nowforwrath.github.io/data2024.json ************* Many of you who have frequented this blog and checked out some of my battle reports may have noticed just how nice my army lists looked! This is all thanks to Andrew, the developer of Tabletop Admiral. Many moons ago he worked on a modular system for his list builder and I volunteered to be the steward of the MESBG data- tirelessly click-clacking away to get your favorite profiles digitized! This builder is AWESOME. I've been using even the earliest alpha versions of it for well over a year and nothing else comes close. Love it to pieces! IF YOU COME ACROSS BUGS PLEASE E-MAIL ME DIRECTLY AT NowForWrathBlog@gmail.com The text below the cut is from Andrew's original announcement on Reddit, and details how to use the build...

500 point tournament report with Rivendell

I was really excited to play in a 500 point tournament over the weekend! It was the second of four connected tournaments in the "To War!" escalation series hosted at Your Hobby Place in Fredericksburg, VA. My report from the first tournament can be found here, where my Rivendell forces took third overall!

Ambush at Amon Hen!

Chris and I were looking to get a game in, but neither of us were feeling anything particularly "sweaty", or "meta" and so opted to do something I have yet to try in ME- play a scenario! With my recently completed fellowship we opted for the Ambush at Amon Hen.
