100th Post and just over 10,000 points painted in a little over a year!

I'm a data guy, so its no surprise I track a lot about my hobby time. I first purchased the Pelennor Fields starter set on May 5th, 2022. Now, just a little bit over a year later it was a fun time to take a look back over my armies and a look back at the blog so far!

It's been really fun tracking what I've painted. It's so ingrained in my hobby routine now that I really look forward to the very last step of painting (which for me is the final brown coat around the rim of the base) so that I can immediately go pop it in the spreadsheet. For each of my armies, I have a sheet that looks like this:

Which of course, rolls up to my main "dashboard" showing what armies I have ready to go and at what points level. Here's a bonus look at my "Mordor and friends" tab, which is easily the most filled out:

For the overall stats, since May 5th 2022 I have painted 371 Models, and 10,550 Points.

At the time of this post, this is my backlog. Seeing it listed like this is actually pretty motivating in a weird way... but it's still the digital twin of my pile of shame opportunity.

Anyhow, THANK YOU to everyone who has commented here, on Reddit, or on Facebook. It's meant a lot and keeping up with this blog has been a real joy!

Tabletop Admiral MESBG Army Builder now Live!

Many of you who have frequented this blog and checked out some of my battle reports may have noticed just how nice my army lists looked! This is all thanks to Andrew, the developer of Tabletop Admiral. Many moons ago he worked on a modular system for his list builder and I volunteered to be the steward of the MESBG data- tirelessly click-clacking away to get your favorite profiles digitized! This builder is AWESOME. I've been using even the earliest alpha versions of it for well over a year and nothing else comes close. Love it to pieces! IF YOU COME ACROSS BUGS PLEASE E-MAIL ME DIRECTLY AT NowForWrathBlog@gmail.com The text below the cut is from Andrew's original announcement on Reddit, and details how to use the builder!

500 point tournament report with Rivendell

I was really excited to play in a 500 point tournament over the weekend! It was the second of four connected tournaments in the "To War!" escalation series hosted at Your Hobby Place in Fredericksburg, VA. My report from the first tournament can be found here, where my Rivendell forces took third overall!

Isengard vs Minas Tirith & Rohan in Retrieval. 800 points!!
