The game room overhaul

After a few years, it was time for a total game room overhaul. I had the space trying to pull triple duty with a couch/TV space, my office, and the game room. Frankly, it was feeling too cramped, looking too cluttered, and the TV was barely seeing any use. So, with the support of my fiancee (6 weeks till the big day! It's a big part of what's been keeping me so busy, dear readers) I did a complete overhaul of the game room.

First, I had to pull all of the junk out of all the nooks and crannies... and there was a TON of junk.

So. Much. Stuff. I had to part with a lot of it, but it was time!

Rebekah was a huge help! This was tough work and I would've never gotten it done on my own.

Hudson was NOT a big help.

The other side of the room featuring my office. The big TV is on an arm mount that swivels out to angle towards the game table- I use it to play ambient music relevant to the game!

The board game collection got thinned out a bit.

And finally, the room provided plenty of entertainment for days of fun with the boys!

500 point tournament report with Rivendell

I was really excited to play in a 500 point tournament over the weekend! It was the second of four connected tournaments in the "To War!" escalation series hosted at Your Hobby Place in Fredericksburg, VA.
